Shop In-store With Our Stylist in Irvine, California
Planning for the big day is stressful enough, so Lasting Love Bridal is here to help! Scheduling an in-store appointment for bridal gown fitting or the bridesmaids is vital. Not only do you get to see the special occasion dresses in person, but you also get to feel the fabric and decide on the best fit for your body.
Schedule Your Lasting Love Bridal Appointment
First, you need to schedule your dress fitting appointment at our showroom in Irvine, California. We suggest you check our availability calendar in order to book an appointment online. You may also contact us online by filling out a contact submission form here or calling us directly at (949) 943-3020. If you’re the bride-to-be scheduling this appointment for your gown fitting, you’re more than welcome to bring the bride tribe along to help you decide on the best wedding gown! And yes, we also offer special occasion gowns for the mother-of-the-bride and special discounts on bulk bridesmaid dress purchases!
Bridal Dress Ideas, Wedding Theme, and More
Alright, so you’ve booked your in-store appointment with Lasting Love Bridal, yay! The next step is to tell our bridal staff more about yourself. We want to know what your wedding style is all about. From the wedding color palette to the theme and location of your wedding, we also want to know your favorite dress designs and ideas. For example:
- Do you prefer a particular type of fabric?
- Are you looking into a wedding dress trend for 2022?
- Do you prefer a mermaid tail or a short skirt gown for your wedding day?
All of these ideas and responses will be considered by our LLB stylists.
The same goes for the bride tribe. These days, brides-to-be are a bit lenient in dress style as long as the color matches the theme. As a bridesmaid, you’ll have more options to purchase a gown that will suit your body type and make you feel comfortable for the entire event. Remember, comfort is the priority when you’re being asked to stand at the altar for your BFF’s wedding ceremony! And let’s not forget, you’ll be wearing this bridesmaid gown for the entire festivities long into the night after a few hours of dancing.
Our stylists will want to use all of this information from the bride and her bridesmaids, or matron-of honor/maid-of-honor, to curate an impeccable selection that will be ready for you and the girls the day of your appointment.
Yes, we know it can be a bit stressful to plan and execute a wedding, and this is why our experienced staff at the Irvine Showroom is happy to accommodate you and the bridal party. We advise you to pick three favorite dresses from our online shop and share those picks with our stylist. We will have those three unique occasion gowns ready for you to try on as soon as you step into our showroom.
Preparing for Wedding Dress Shopping at Our Showroom
Once you arrive at the in-store wedding appointment at Lasting Love Bridal, our stylist will guide you through the curated dress selections based on your top three dress choices. Our stylist will also have other gowns ready for you based on the wedding theme and color palette. You and the bride-tribe will be able to shop one-on-one to find the perfect look with personalized style advice, fit, and more.
If you are unsure about the fitting after trying on your top three dress selections, our stylist can guide you through our other showroom samples, and we may have more gowns available online that can be purchased and delivered later. A word of advice from our bridal showroom stylist: plan ahead of time.
Most weddings in California can be held throughout the year, although the spring, summer, and fall seasons are still the most popular. If you are getting married during this time, you need to consider that not all wedding dresses are created equal. Make sure you make an in-person showroom visit with us at least 4 months in advance. Wedding dress fittings require choosing the best style and look for your body and wedding theme. Most likely, you will need some alterations. Even if the alterations are minor, you want to make sure you’re booking these appointments within a reasonable time frame so that you and your stylist are not rushing to get it done.
Keep in mind that if you’re not able to visit the showroom during the week, including the difficult task of rounding up the bridesmaids to have the same availability, you’ll only have the weekends available to visit with us. Hypothetically, you’ll have about 16 weekends open to choose the dress, get any needed alterations, and take it home with you before the big day if you start planning at least four months in advance.
Keeping It Safe While Visiting Lasting Love Bridal
Of course, keeping the pandemic in mind, our showroom staff is practicing the best guidelines, including social distancing and controlling the number of people in the showroom to a minimum. We regularly sanitize fitting rooms and heavily touched surfaces while also asking visitors (and our staff) to wear a face covering.
For the safety of everyone involved, we are currently allowing up to four people max per scheduled visit in the showroom at this time – in addition to our team. Please contact us at least 48 hours before your in-store appointment if you need any additional accommodations. We encourage you to reschedule if you feel ill before the appointment date. Our top priority is the safety of our clients, our staff, and our community.
Completing Your First Bridal Appointment
Throughout your in-store wedding gown fitting appointment, our stylist will take care of all the note-taking so that you can focus on your favorites! We recommend that you and your bride tribe bring in your preferred heels (with height in mind) that you will most likely wear with the gown. Our LLB stylist will provide you with a detailed recap after your in-store showroom visit in Irvine has been completed.
And as a friendly reminder, we still recommend that you schedule a dress fitting with us at least 4 months in advance. It’s totally okay to get fitted a year prior to the wedding – if you’re sure you will keep consistent body weight within that time. Or, if you decided to change your heels within that one year, you may have to get alterations again. Last-minute alterations or changes in shoes and accessories can definitely add to the wedding planning stress, which is why we’re happy to help you through each step of the process.
Book an In-store Dress Fitting in Orange County
Are you ready to get started? Book a virtual or in-store dress fitting with Lasting Love Bridal in Orange County today! Remember that we do have safety protocols in mind for in-store visits. There’s also an online calendar where you easily view availability, and you can book an appointment accordingly.
At LLB, we have three types of showroom appointments available. You can book a Showroom Bridal Dress Stylist Appointment for the duration of one hour. Bring your mom, sister, or a few friends who will be a part of your big day to our showroom. The Bridal Dress Appointment will consist of a personalized experience with our stylist, and you’ll be able to shop the entire gallery in person. We’ll answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Secondly, you can schedule a Showroom Bridesmaid Dress Stylist Appointment which will also consist of a one-hour meeting. Whether your maid-of-honor is in charge or your bridesmaids want to explore gowns independently, our stylist will have their undivided attention as they shop around the entire collection. With over 42 colors to choose from and unique styles, we’re sure that the bride tribe will be happy with their choice.
Lastly, you may schedule a Showroom Post-Purchase Appointment, consisting of your final dress fitting. This appointment typically lasts about 30 minutes. If you did not bring your final choice of heels to a prior appointment, make sure you bring them to this final visit. Having the exact heels you’ll be wearing at the wedding in hand for your last appointment will give you a better perspective on any needed alterations and overall comfort.
Tips on Storing Your Dress Before the Wedding
Congratulations! You finally picked the wedding dress of your dreams! We are thrilled to have been a part of the process. Taking your wedding gown home is a big feat, although the stress of storing it before the big day is unavoidable. Here are a few tips from our Lasting Love Bridal Stylist:
- Store your wedding gown on a flat surface. The first inclination you may have is to put your dress on a hanger. Although, it depends on the weight. Does your dress have multiple layers or heavy beading? If so, you should definitely lay it flat. If the gown has a few light layers, like silk and satin, it should be okay to hang it.
- Choose the best room to store your wedding dress. This means you should avoid a damp basement or dusty attic. Also, choose a space that’s easily avoided by pets and children. Keep your dress as safe as possible.
- Once the dress is safely stored, resist the temptation to try it on. Deodorant, make-up, and oil stains are usually the biggest culprits for staining special occasion gowns. Be sure to be freshly showered and make-up-free before putting on your wedding gown the day off.
